Description
English Songs Volume 2 is an E.P. (Extended Play) vinyl single recorded by the iconic English folk singer Shirley Collins, and released on Collector Records in 1964 (JEB 9).
The single comes in its original cardboard picture sleeve.
Collins was a significant contributor to the English folk revival of the 1960s and 1970s, and this EP includes some of the songs for which she is well-known: Dance To Your Daddy, The Sperm Whale Fishery, My Bonny Miner Lad and The Foolish Boy.
Condition is "Used". This single is in very good condition, according to the Record Collector magazine standard. This means that the record displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, and there is normal wear and tear on the sleeve. This is not surprising given that it is more than 50 years old.
