Description
The Foggy Dew is an E.P. (Extended Play) vinyl single recorded in March 1959 by the iconic English folk singer Shirley Collins, and released on Selection Records (JEB 3).
The single comes in its original cardboard picture sleeve.
Collins was a significant contributor to the English folk revival of the 1960s and 1970s, and this EP includes some of the songs for which she is best-known: The Foggy Dew, The Berkshire Tragedy,Geordie and Brigg Fair.
Condition is "Used". This single is in very good condition, according to the Record Collector magazine standard. This means that the record displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, and there is normal wear and tear on the cover. This is not surprising given that it is more than 50 years old. The front of the sleeve has a small sticker in the top right hand corner.
