On offer here is a rare folk LP by Shirley Collins called The Power Of The True Love Knot. This is an original UK 1968 Polydor LP which is very hard to find today. Even though this record was released on a major record label it sold very few copies.
The fully laminated cover is in very respectable condition with minor age wear and 4 pin holes that have gone through the cover. There is no writing and the spine fully readable. Because of the pin holes I will grade as Very Good Condition.
The record visually does have light spindle wear indicative of play and some hairline removal signs, still a nice shine to the vinyl. I will grade as Very Good Condition.
As this is only Shirley and Dolly Collins playing it is a relatively quiet record and subject to the slightest static noise. Both sides play well with nearly all tracks playing great. Only the lightest of static to be heard and just a few clicks on Side 1 track 5. Really a great listen for a 50 year old album. This is graded as VG+ Condition.
Altogether this extremely hard to find record is in very respectable condition and this LP does not come up for sale very often. This would be a useful addition to any lover of folk music.
