Description
Up for sale is a private press demonstration recording by Shirley Horn and Reg Stonestreet of songs written by Jess Barnet of Washington, D.C. This appears to date from the mid-1960s. We have been able to find very little information on this record or on Jess Barnet, and since it is a demo recording, there are certainly no more than a handful of these in existence. Eight selections of vocal jazz backed by a trio (Horn is likely to be the pianist on these recordings). See photos for song titles. Generic cover (it seems unlikely that a recording such as this would have been issued with an actual commercial sleeve). Record is VG-, with some visible scuffs.
