More rare than The Shit Dogs second EP from Pangolin Productions, "The History OF Cheese" IMHO is the better of these two records. Swims in Lo-Fi garage punk glory. Baton Rouge, Louisiana's finest band EVER.

I am auctioning both Shit Dogs EP's and this is by far the better of the two. I only recently acquired this record from a friend's daughter. Friend, died earlier this year.

I have to grade the record at a VG+ because he wrote his initials as well as the date he'd acquired it. This is a shining example of one of the most played, replayed and sought after garage rock, punk rock, lo-fi masterpieces of the 1980's. Recorded and then sprinkled around Baton Rouge, you pretty much have to know a family member of a recently departed collector to obtain an original copy.

Otherwise, they were bought by someone who knew what they had, and often aren't as nice as this one. Pango 002 is much easier to find and I have seen a few of them, including the one I have up for sale, they have been hiding in a frat boy turned adult's collection.

Sleeve on this is nice and bright, no stains, rips, or tears. Comes with the original inner lyric sheet, some slight discoloration from the acidic outer sleeve can be seen. Record has some very slight scuffs, a very small needle mark about 1/4" and a label flaw. Otherwise nice and shiny. Plays great. Sold as is so please bid wisely.
