A RARE TREAT FOR SERIOUS PUNK / NEW WAVE COLLECTORS!!
'SHORT CIRCUIT AT THE ELECTRIC CIRCUS' (Virgin Records VCL 5003, 1978)
As punk's second city, Manchester played a major part in the development of punk as a phenomenon in the years 1976 - 1977. The Electric Circus in Collyhurst was Manchester punk's spiritual home. This album documents the last weekend of it's existence in October 1977.
A collectors item in it's own right, this 10" album was famously released as a 'promo only' version in orange vinyl. It is rumoured that only 300 were pressed - How many are left now??
Also includes the original shop poster and extra single 'Another Close Shave' by John Dowie. (Virgin Records VEP 1004, 1977) in pink vinyl.
The album features the first recorded work by Joy Division (still known as Warsaw at the time). This track is unavailable elsewhere.

Grading: Album Sleeve is very good, both front and rear of sleeve are clear and shiny. Storage rubbing to all edges.
Inner Sleeve Excellent. Poster is near mint (folded). Album vinyl is very good + (light marks visible under strong light).
7" single and sleeve both in excellent condition.
