Hello and welcome to my auction. This is the RCA Living Stereo Version of Shostakovich Cello Sonata. With stamper numbers of 1S/1S. It features Daniel Shafran as Cellist and Lydia Percherskaya as Pianist. This is a strong EX to EX+ record. I have listened to the record on my music hall MMP 5 turntable (default cartridge, tube amp, triangle antal speakers) and it sounds great with only occasional/minimal light (very faint) ticks...no pops to distract you. Quiet/soft areas are quiet. Nice dynamics. Very relaxing. The vinyl itself shows EX+. The label and spindle hole look unplayed. The cover front shows strong with only very slight black ring wear on bottom. Seams for most part are tight. Bottom back corner (about 1") does show minor wear, but not split. The spine top and side are strong. Back of the cover shows a little more ring wear as it is white. The previous owner name is stamped on back. The sleeve is in great shape with slight discoloration.
