Hands down, this is the best split LP of the 1990's. Both bands are explosive and firing on all cylinders. Shotmaker are rhythmic, chaotic, yet precise in their attack. Plus, they know how to throw a hook in amidst of the hurricane of sound. Maximillian Colby (pre-Sleepytime Trio) are like Slint crossed with Heroin (the amazing band on Gravity Records). Beautiful and haunting at once. In other words, this LP flat out rocks. Calling it a modern classic is probably an understatement. Heck, these two bands pretty much are the very definition of the mid-1990's emotive hardcore sound.
This LP went out of print about 10 years ago and is extremely hard to find nowadays. The copy I am selling is in EX/EX- condition. As a collector, I tend to grade records very conservatively. You would be hard pressed to find another copy of this record in better shape than the one I am selling!
