Description
"Showboat showa kuro Iro Tent 68/71 - kigeki showa no sekai yori" (75, ALM Records alp-205, Japan) with one-sided insert. cover is Ex to Nm/ vinyl is Nm. This is a recording of a musical performed by the famed Black Tent Theatre (Kuro Iro Tent).
On this recording, half the music is lifted directly from Weill's "Threepenny Opera", with the lyrics rewritten by Makoto Sato. Atsuo Fukuyama is the composer of note on this record. "Back and Go" is apparently a revolutionary track that turned a lot of heads but Google Translate is making a mess of it, very dadaesque. There were 500 copies pressed of this album. The only listing I could find compared this to early Tenjo Sajiki.
All records are original US pressings unless noted. Graded cover/ record. Near Mint is my top open grade followed by Ex (faint wear), Vg+ (light wear), Vg (moderate wear but playable with no serious problems). Everything is fully guaranteed as described.
