Description
This is a super-rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording “Anadisc 200” VINYL LP pressing of “Showdown!” the blues album featuring Albert Collins, Robert Cray and Johnny Copeland. The catalog number is MFSL 1-217.
This is a near-mint (cover and disc) special limited edition copy. I haven’t even cracked the spine and I played the record once. The record comes with the original (but opened) plastic sleeve. The record is mastered from the original master tapes and pressed on 200-gram vinyl. There is no number on the “Special Limited Edition” logo on the lower left-hand back cover. Maybe this makes it even rarer – I don’t know. I got this as a promo copy.
I have been collecting records for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
