Description

Shusha - Persian Love Songs And Mystic Chants (UK- Tangent,1971)
Her 1st and most sought after LP, full of Eastern imaginery in beautiful Eastern psychy sleeve. UK female vocals acid folk LP.
scarce UK original debut album by exotic female folker…a very great Persian folk piece with her beautiful and charming voice,eastern feel,jazzy vibe… Original UK pressing. Record and laminated sleeve are in near mint condition.

Born in 1940 in Teheran, Iran, Shusha moved to Paris, France, at age 16 to study oriental languages and philosophy. It was the training as an opera singer that made her decide to become a professional entertainer. Shusha relocated to London in the mid-1960s, and released her first album in 1971.
