Description

From 1969 on the UK CBS record label comes this stunning stock copy 45 by Shy Limbs entitled "Lady In Black / Trick Or Two" (4624). Housed in a company paper sleeve. Record in excellent++ condition with clean labels and a lovely sheen. Post and packing in the UK is £2.25. I sell worldwide.

This is just one of many rare and obscure records (mainly demos) from the late 60s/early 70s that I will be auctioning this week. Formerly the property of a record plugger. Most are in excellent condition or better, a lot unplayed.

45s: 1 Reputation/Love (CBS 4190) 1969 2 Lady In Black/Trick Or Two (CBS 4624) 1969  

Reputation is a superb organ-led song similar to Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade Of Pale, which builds into an impressive crescendo. The flip side, Love, is rather disappointing by comparison.

Both their 45s are now hard to find and expensive. The first came out in Germany in a picture sleeve. They came from Bournemouth and previously recorded as Shame.

Greg Lake later switched to keyboards and played with The Gods in 1968, leaving them to join King Crimson in late 1968/early 1969 and then E.L.P..
