Violin Concerto Op. 47
Suk
Four Pieces Op. 17
A very rare disc by the French violinist, Ginette Neveu, tragically killed in a plane disaster in October 1949. She was 28 at the time.
Her accompanist in the Suk pieces is her brother, also killed in the plane crash.

Given the rarity of this disc, I am describing it in as much detail as possible.
The disc is in good condition. It appears to have had some use. Upon close examination under strong artificial light, a number of light scuffs are discernable on each side. As a result, there is a degree of surface noise and crackle, and a some pops. The disc has been played in its entirety on my Linn LP12 and I can confirm there are no jumps. For the most part, any noise or clicks are acceptable, although it does become somewhat louder towards the end of the sides.
The cover is good, although the laminate is coming away at the opening.
I mention all this, so that you know exactly what you are bidding on.
Overall, this is a fine sounding disc in acceptable condition, especially considering its age.
All discs are cleaned prior to despatch.
