Description

Sid Wayne wrote a lot of songs for Elvis Presley films. Abner Silver was a Tin-Pan-Alley writer of a previous generation, writing songs for everyone from Billie Holiday to Frank Sinatra to Mel Torme to Julie London. "Me Without You" seems to be a demo that went unrecorded, in a vocal group or doo-wop style. With cool vintage "Dick Charles Recording" studio labels, the 78 rpm 10" acetate is in clean VG+ condition, with light storage marks typical of old aetates. Complete with lead sheet.
