Description

Mega Rare LP of Sidney Bechet - Jazz Classics Vol 1 (Blue Note 1201 - mono)  Original Blue and white labels with 767 Lexington Ave address labels, Deep Groove rings,RVG stamp and ear on both sides (Flat edge pressing) - NOT a current re-issue!  Rare  Bechet LP is a lost classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.


The LP is in VG+ condition with marks (mostly light) that will make some noise and with much if not most of the original shine - actually pretty good for one of these - still, you will likely hear some noise.  The cover with original Frame design with Lexington address on back  is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps,  Not perfect, but a solid copy of Blue Note's first LP release. 


The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

 Mailing costs have gone up.  Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to  payment fees on mailing payments.   I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.


International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing to Europe for one LP would be $31.00.  One LP to Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia would be $36.00.  One LP to Canada would be $27.00. For other countries please write for quote. All rates reflect increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials.
