Description

PAYPAL ONLY*****THRIFT SHOP FIND! I AM NOT A RECORD EXPERT***This is a rare find! Gene Vincent Hot Rod Gang picture sleeve. I believe it was from 1958. THERE IS NO RECORD JUST THE SLEEVE*** The best part is a Green ink signature on the cover by Gene Vincent! It is kind of hard to read but it says,,,"To Celeste Vernette Gene Vincent". I checked out other autograph examples, and this is very similar to the others I saw, but I'm not an expert, so I'm selling it as-is.  It is Capitol records EAP 1-985. The sleeve has some wear/1 inch edge tear at the top near the opening, I would say very good condition. Could be the only one of these rare sleeves with a Vincent autograph known to exist! The fine print on the back at the bottom says..."Made in USA", and "Factories: Scranton, PA-Los Angeles Calif, P1020". Gene was in the car crash that killed his friend Eddie Cochran, and never fully recovered from his leg injuries. He died at the age of 36 of an aneurism in 1971. Displays great! ***
