It's hard but I need to sell a couple things dear to me. I saw REM at the Living Room in Providence Rhode Island in Sept of 1983. Let's Active opened and Mitch Easter also got on stage with the whole band at the end of the show (I posted the pic below) I had a very good friend who was a college DJ in the area who worked his angles and always got backstage at shows. He told me to come early and hang out with the band. Of course I did. I ended up eating dinner backstage with them and talking about bands they liked. Peter talked up Robyn Hitchcock, The Hoodoo Gurus and The Church. I ate my dinner (spaghetti) sitting next to Michael on a table (pictured below) I covered my face in the auction but I will include a scan of the actual pics to the highest bidder. As you can see, the record is signed and occasionally drawn on by the band. Bill, Michael, Peter and Mike. I wanted to preserve the signatures so I immediately put clear adhesive tape over them. As you can see, my plan worked. The record is in near mint condition and looks amazing for being 36 years old. That's my story and I am stickin to it. Good luck. 

BONUS, as you can see this copy is a promo. My friend had a bunch of copies of Murmur so we got a few signed. Not sure if he still has his. but I am selling mine.

I also included another pic just to show that I was a nutty kid and loved getting backstage. Once back there, I always got stuff signed. Included is myself and Big Country backstage at The Ritz Ballroom in NYC. Even caught a pic of Pete Townshend walking by.

Condition: Vinyl is in great shape. I don't remember ever playing this copy.  

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
