I bought this as soon as it became available. My friend was working at Abbey Road at the time and there was a lot of talk about it before it got released. It a great album and this one has been played a lot. At parties. With drunk people… damn my friends..
Actually the sleeve is in pretty good condition. It’s a beautiful production with a textured double gatefold sleeve and no barcode.
And the second disc is I great shape too. The first one has received a bit of scuffing. Fortunately what looks like a big scratch on side one is barely audible. The first track on side two has an audible scratch just as the glockenspiel starts to pick up before the vocal but again most of the scuffing seems to be visual. As I said this record has been played and there is crackle which is noticeable in the quiet passages but not to the detriment of the music unless you really find that sort of thing a problem. This is not the audiophile’s choice!
