Original first pressing 2005 UK triple deluxe heavyweight vinyl - double 12-inch LP plus single-sided ETCHED 10-inch
The package comes in a special heavyweight gatefold sleeve with additional die-cut compartment for the 10-inch. A stunning, unique item, the ultimate edition of this incredible album.
This record is in beautiful near mint condition - an amazing example of this gorgeous package. All three records are pristine and shiny, and the thick embossed gatefold sleeve is immaculate, with only a tiny amount of shelf wear to the very top and very bottom of the spine (barely noticeable). Both original inner sleeves are present and immaculate, and the etched side of the 10-inch is beautifully preserved, as is the die-cut.
This LP was only produced in limited quantities and is long-deleted. It was quite pricey to buy new so not many were sold - meaning it's now very hard to find for a reasonable price, and especially in this amazing condition.
With Christmas coming, this would be the perfect gift for a Sigur Rós fan. When music is as lush and textured as this, it deserves to be heard in all its glory on virgin vinyl, not the badly compressed CD that was released (I've heard both!).
