Description

"Ballad of a Thin Man / The Rest of Ballad of a Thin Man / Sea Cruise / Well, Well, Well," by Silver Leaf, released on A Major Record Company in the U.S. in 198?. Fantastic obscurity here out of Ohio, a weird mix of synth wave and AOR, with lo-fi angles and lazy, deadpan vocals - and perhaps the strangest cover of a Bob Dylan song. I doubt many of these were released - my own copy has a promp sheet that explains that they only sent out copies to radio stations and reviewers who expressed interest. Check my other auctions for another single by the group, essentially two people, a female vocalist and lyricist and a guy who used to play in 70's jazz rock group Zephyr. Vinyl in excellent condition.
