Originally the fourth and final single from Freak Show (1997), The Door EP captures Silverchair’s raw post-grunge sound with a mix of studio and live recordings. The A-side features the title track and a cover of “Surfin’ Bird,” while the B-side includes live versions of “Roses” and Minor Threat’s self-titled anthem — recorded at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom in April 1997. Jeremy Chatelain of Handsome joins on vocals for “Minor Threat,” adding extra bite to the performance.
