Description
Collectors, here is a fun disc, Silverton 2493, the famous tune "Charleston" played by Lanin's Rosewood Orchestra, circa 1928. B side is "Moonlight and Roses", a Fox trot performed by the Broadway Players. Sam Lanin was a well known orchestra leader at this time and he recorded for many different record labels. This is a very rollicking version, you will love it. There is some surface noise as you would expect in a record of this era from a minor label. I've collected acoustic 78's for 45 years and I have never found another recording of Charleston!! What a find! Sensible buy it now price, try and find another one, go for it!!!
Shipping to USA addresses only. $4.50 media mail postage and handling, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box. Please pay withing 48 hours of purchase and positive feedback appreciated!! See my other lisitng for other early 78s and thanks for looking!!
