Description
An original 1st issue of BOTW on the UK CBS label whilst the album was still charting. Matrix A6/B7. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an uncreditted cover which is front-laminated - these are believed to be the first variant and exhibit bluer hues and are printed on heavier card. Also included is the original S&G CBS advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is very very minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few isolated crackles in the intro to B.O.T.W. on side 1 and very little else worthy of mention. These acoustic low-key tracks really need a clean playing copy to do them proper justice. And this copy delivers just that with a very impressive rendition throughout.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. A very clean and shiny front which only exhibits a couple of thumbnail creases and a couple of surface laminate creases. The rear is in excellent condition too with no creases and only super-light handling. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and is an impressive specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits or markings.
