Got a big time holy grail type treasure for you….the Simon & Garfunkel classic Bookends, in the incredibly hard to find mono pressing. In all my years in the big game record hunting business, I’ve only seen one other copy of this album in mono. It’s that rare.

For full disclosure, I’m not a huge S&G fan. I know the hits, and that’s it. But I VPI cleaned and play graded this one, and it’s a terrific album. And the mono mix is outstanding. Dare I say that the full punchy mono makes S&G almost sound like they’re rocking out at times?
