Welcome....This is a Mega Rare mono pressing of Simon & Garfunkel's Bookends LP on the Columbia label, catalog number KCL-2729.

You don't find many of these laying around!

The cover is very solid, seams and spine are nice with a little bit of color loss and a few bumps but no splits. There is some overall wear and some ring wear but nothing too bad. This cover is prone to wear but this copy has survived pretty well. I grade it as VG.

The record play grades at VG- having a fair to moderate amount of background noise throughout the entire album. There is a scratch that starts on the first song on side two and goes into the second track but although it is audible, it's not as bad as it looks. Looks can be deceiving...except for that visible scratch, the vinyl "looks" to be in VG++ condition.
The Etched numbers in the trail off are as follows:
Side 1:  XLP 118885-1C
Side 2:  XLP 118886-1C

The labels are Near Mint and the poster is Stone Mint and has never been unfolded or used.

This is a super rare album in any condition and this copy is not too shabby!

I must also say that when listening to a mono record, your sound system should be set in mono mode. Listening to a mono source in stereo mode will magnify and distort the sonic imperfections. This record was listened to over headphones in both mono and stereo before the grade of (VG-) was given.
