Description

An album that hardly needs an introduction.......Simon & Garfunkel's undisputed masterpiece, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'.  This platinum certified record was initially released in 1970 and then re-released by Columbia Records in 1980 (HC 49914) as part of their half-speed mastered CBS Mastersound series.  Though the majority of titles in this particular series usually takes a back seat when compared to reviews for other audiophile labels, this one is the rare exception.  I've heard just about every pressing for this album and I can honestly say this one is among the very best.  The sound is well balanced, detailed, and clean.  There seems to be less meddling with equalization; and the vocals in particular, sound absolutely wonderful. 

Condition: Brand New/Still Sealed......jacket is perfect except for a barely noticeable 1cm pre-split to top seam.  Very, very difficult now to find this title in this factory sealed condition.
