Description
Sealed Columbia House club edition of The Concert In Central Park, Simon & Garfunkel’s classic 1982 double live album recorded at their landmark September 19, 1981 reunion concert in New York City.
This set captures one of the great public music events of the early 1980s, a free Central Park benefit concert that drew a massive crowd and turned the reunion into a full cultural moment. The track list works almost like a greatest-hits live set, with “Mrs. Robinson,” “Homeward Bound,” “America,” “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard,” “Scarborough Fair,” “The Boxer,” “The Sound of Silence,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Nice collector detail: the album was recorded by the Record Plant Remote Truck, with Roy Halee involved in remixing and Greg Calbi mastering at Sterling Sound, giving this live set a production pedigree that matches the importance of the performance.
Factory sealed copy with strong shelf appeal. Columbia House club edition noted on back cover.
NOTE: Please consider that your audio equipment blows mine away and the record will invariably sound better on your system. Also, I do not have the ability to professionally clean records and give one static brush before ONE sampling, then back into the sleeve and jacket. My goal is to give you all you need for a transparent purchasing experience.
