Description

Rare 1968 US mono copy of Bookends on Columbia label with 1B/1C matrices.
The vinyl has plenty of scuffs and light scratches. I found 3 short scratches that I could feel but no repeating ticks or pops from them. There are some white marks on the intro grooves on side 1 that can be felt but I heard no sound effect from them.
The album plays with consistent light crackle and some light pops here and there. There are no repeating ticks for more than 2 revolutions. No skips or jumps. The playback is generally VG with VG- noted on Side 1, Track 4 due to some pops in beginning. There is writing on side 1 of the record label (see photos). The vinyl is overall graded G+.
Note: My stylus picks up everything so the album playback may be graded higher on others.
The jacket is well worn on cover with ringwear and spine is worn such that text is no longer readable. There is a partial seam split on upper seam. Lower seam is well worn but intact. Someone wrote their name on front and an old sticker is also on front. Also graded G+
