Simon and Garfunkel Bookends Vinyl LP KCL 2729 very rare mono version of this classic S&G LP.
Vinyl = High gloss, looks and plays VG+. Almost no crackles at all. I heard 2 or 3 total. S&G have a lot of softer passages and this copy plays clean. It does show some light needle wear, one or two small hairs, and a couple faint, small scuffs. They're mostly illegible and they do not affect play. I'm just listing these things because it's a rare record and I want to disclose them. Ultimately, it looks and plays nice. I don't use VG++ or E or anything like that. In all of my experience, this record would be a VG+ and certainly plays it.
Cover = G+/VG- shows ring wear, chaffing along edges and 2.5" split on bottom seam. Overall, it's decent. Comes with poster in nice shape. Also, this is the original "Mono KCL 2729" cover, not the stereo cover with mono alternate. Meaning, this is the earliest press.
Very rare record, with unique mono cuts, in VG+ shape.
