Simon and Garfunkel RED VINYL PROMO 45 & PICTURE SLEEVE The Dangling Conversation

 

One of the hardest to find Simon and Garfunkel sleeves and promos, this one missed the top 20 in 1966.  The sleeve was issued in limited quantity.  The song was passed over for their Greatest Hits album in 1972, and indeed, most people don’t remember this 45, making it one of the hardest to find promo’s and sleeves.  Currently, there are no other copies listed on eBay, and there is one commercial copy found in the Completed Listings section.

Vinyl---Visually, very beautiful.  One side has a few stray lines that are so light, you can’t see them unless you consult with a bare bulb.  The camera has trouble detecting them as well.  I tried to exaggerate them in the photos to give you an idea.  Plays near mint.  The other side is near mint.

Picture Sleeve---Equally beautiful sleeve.  All seams are sturdy, no splits.  Minimal slick loss to all three seams.  Top has no small tears, but does have slight wrinkles.  Sleeve is flat, razor-sharp corners.  Both sides have a slight outdent from the 45.  Your 45 will ship in a generic sleeve in order to preserve the very nice condition of your picture sleeve.
