Official Westwood One Superstar Concert Series US Radio Triple Vinyl 12” box set.
LIVE IN CONCERT!
Features 4 sides of Simple Minds & 2 sides of Tears For Fears.
These discs were issued to radio stations to be played on air and are very rare.
Included are adverts and trailers for other tours as well as a promo for this show.

The box lid is damaged around its edge with separation at the corners. There is a tear at the top left of the cue sheet (consistent with staple removal damage).
The discs are in excellent condition. They haven't been played by me very often and I don't have a record player anymore, hence the sale.
This is a very special item. Radio shows like these offer a very rare opportunity to obtain officially recorded live material of broadcast quality.
The Simple Minds tracks were subsequently released on their Silver Box, but the mixes are different (most fans have reported finding the Silver Box versions sub-standard). In particular, “Ghost Dancing” differs markedly: the Silver Box version suffered from the vocals being erroneously faded down towards the end of the track, but the vocals are intact on this version. The SM songs date from the Rotterdam Ahoy on 3 Dec 1985.
