Description

Simple Minds very rare Spanish 7" 45 promo Someone Somewhere In Summertime (live).Cat No SIMPLE 1. It is believed the Spanish were considering releasing this as a fully fledged single and so produced this promo - it's taken directly from the album Live In The City Of Light. They are now very rare and the biggest problem is they were issued in a very thin paper sleeve and so it is extremely difficult to find one in excellent or mint condition.

This particular sleeve I grade as VG+ but see the pictures for a better idea. It is showing some wear but there are no tears or splits and still in decent condition.

I've played the record all the way through on both sides - there is some noticeable crackling on the run ins on both sides but once the song gets underway it plays really well. There is the odd pop though on both sides and there is some visible marks too. Graded as VG+.Tested on a Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB turntable. It should also be said that this record has got one of the smallest 'run in' depths I've seen on a 7" - so you just need to be very careful when dropping the needle!
