Description
Siouxsie and the Banshees. Hong Kong Garden. Signed by original band members Sioux, Severin, John and Kenny.
I bought this single on release. I was living in N Ireland at the time, 14 years old and a massive Banshees fan from the first release.
When The Staircase (Mystery) came out I also bought it immediately. I then posted the two picture sleeves to Polydor Records in London, asking if The Banshees would sign them. This would have been 1979.
I waited a good three months, finally they came back to me, signed. I've had them ever since.
The sleeve is grayed along the edges, but it is over 40 years old. Kenny's autograph has faded, they've used different pens but you can still see it, as in the second picture. The vinyl is most likely in very good condition, I always looked after my records but I think this sale is more about the sleeve.
