Box set consisting of 8 individually jacketed LPs (all in NM condition) .
EMI World Records Limited. SH 1001 to SH 1008.
Includes 255 page hardcover book "Sir Thomas Beecham, A Centenary Tribute" by Alan Jefferson. (World Records 1979). Excellent condition (never read?)

The 8 LPs are:
1. The early years (1910-1928)
2. Shorter works (1933-1948)
3. The post war years (1947-1956)
4. Conducts opera & oratorio (1934-1948)
5. Conducts concertos (1947 & 1949)
6. Conducts Strauss (1947)
7. Conducts Sibelius (1954)
8. The pathfinder (1934-1959): The first stereo & tape recordings & lectures.

Records have been played but only on one high quality player and have been stored as advised.
Believe condition is 'Near mint' (from visual inspection plus owner's recollection - carefully played / just a few times. I am selling this on behalf of an elderly friend) but please contact me if you are unhappy with your purchase and I will do what I can to remedy the situation.

Can be collected from central London (near Russell Square), in which case cash on collection please.

Am happy to post (but would rather was collected - no rush!) but likely to cost at least around £9-10; or buyer could arrange courier.
