Sisters of Mercy - Floodland

The 140g vinyl LP appears in a limited edition with a consecutive serial number. description Details

In the mid-1980s, Andrew Eldritch was the last remaining member of The Sisters Of Mercy. After various departures and being kicked out, only the drum computer Boss DR 55, also known as Doctor Avalanche, stood loyally at the side of the eccentric singer. In 1987 Eldritch signed bassist Patricia Morrison and released the superbly produced Floodland, an epic album of its time.

The remastering of Krieg Wunderlich for the Mobile Fidelity Silver Series emphasizes the great dynamism and spaciousness of the Jim Steinman production, best known for his collaboration with Meat Loaf. This Corrosion, the Sisters' best-known hit, sounds downright breathtaking. The 140g vinyl LP appears in a limited edition with a consecutive serial number.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Silver Label

Since the beginning of 2011 MFSL has been releasing a new series of LPs under the product name Silver Label. These are remastered and cut at Mobile Fidelity on the mastering chain constructed by Tim de Paravicini and pressed onto 140g vinyl at RTI in Los Angeles. With a lined rice paper inner sleeve, a protective intermediate sleeve and a consecutive serial number on the outer cover, the packaging meets the same high standards as the well-known Original Master Recording series. Mobile Fidelity is planning a series of experimental publications and in this series is also willing to make do with a copy of the master tape if the original tape cannot be made available. All LPs appear as limited editions and are likely to develop into coveted collector's items.

about us

Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as a cool thing again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record store and of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online can be found in our store in Übersee, Fruehlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Directly on the A8 motorway, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl.
We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for vinyl ...
