This sale is for SIX 1975 Dr. Demento Radio Shows on 12 LP records. The discs are in beautiful condition and they are in their original 1975 sleeves. These discs are forty-one years old!
These '75 Demento Radio shows don't make it to EBAY very often, so if you are a collector, or if you are wishing to start a collection - this is your opportunity! These shows are reasonably priced, so please take advantage of this sale. This is a Buy-It-Now Sale. It is not an auction.
1975 was the first year of national distribution of the Dr Demento Show on LP records as they were sent to several stations for airplay. They were usually played either on Sunday evenings in many markets, and some were played on other weekend times depending on the station.
The six shows are on (12) LP Records are:
- 58 - September 7th 1975, Top Song was Ballad of Irving #1
- 60 - September 21st 1975, Theme of Singing Cowboys
- 61 - September 28th 1975, Top Song was Leonard Nimoy #1
- 62 - October 5th, 1975, Top Song was Ballad of Irving #1
- 63 - October 12th, 1975, Top Song was Monty Python #1
- 64 - October 19th, 1975, Special Note -Show was 1st American Forces Radio Show Distributed
