Six Vintage Memphis 78s
If you like old Memphis 78s, consider these. All records play through fine on my instruments using new soft tone needles each play. I've graded these conservatively using the VJM Grading System.
Victor Scroll #20555 Williamson's Beale Street Frolic Orchestra
A. Bear Wallow Blues
B. Memphis Scronch
V+ Probably the finest example of a V+ I've seen. Some would grade it E- Much better than average condition. Two micro-hairline cracks on the A side at the outer edge of the label into the playoff that only you will know about. You will have to look close to find it. Not audible and does not affect play.
Vocalion #1736 Memphis Night Hawks - Washboard Band
A. Sweet Feet
B. Jockey Stomp
V+ A nice common example of a V+ with playing generally free of distortion. B side has wear around center hole. Title readable
Vocalion #1403 Beale Street Washboard Band
A. Forty And Tight
B. Piggly Wiggly
V This could pass as a V+. B side has noticeable label wear to wax. Text ok, so I'll grade this a V

E- Although there are needle scratches on the A side label, this is still shiny without the luster of a new copy. Great vocal trio on the B side.

A. That Da Da Strain
B. 'Taint Nobody's Biz-ness If I Do
V+ Average condition but plays very well. Label has some wear. Text is readable.
Columbia #A2418 Handy's Orchestra
A. A Bunch Of Blues
B. Moonlight Blues
V+ This is a nice copy
