Description

Rare 1960s Reggae/Ska compilation produced and pressed in Jamaica by Wirl records. Catalogue number Wirl 1034.

Called, "I'll Remember Jamaica" this record has a hardback style gatefold with a booklet attached in centre with lots of colour photographs of 1960s Jamaica and lots of text about the area.

The music on the LP is a mix but includes some great Ska music including:

Yellow Bird by Lloyd Mason

John Tom, Hard Times, by Derek Harriott  

Elephant Walk by Roland Alphonso

River Ben Come Down by Totlyn Jackson.

Cover is VG-. Gatefold is lovely and clean and would be near EX except for split to bottom edge where record slots in/Ska  (about 6 inches). 11 page booklet all nice clean and not creased or torn at all. Lovely overall apart from the split to the bottom of the edge of the record sleeve..
Record is EX+ usual quality issues with a Jamaican pressing of this era but lovely and shiny with no marks or scratches and probably not played much either.
