Skam, the Manchester-based label that channelled some of the most cutting edge work from artists like Autechre and Boards Of Canada, is behind the wickedly conceived Mask series.
The premise for this series was a simple one: gather together some of the best IDM artists around, have them record some exclusive tracks and compile those little gems into a series of 5 very limited 12", being the name of each that of its limitation.
That means that only 400 copies of "Mask 400" exist, featuring some dazzling cuts from Gescom (Autechre), Push Button Objects and Sonic Beat Allience , among others. This is truly a gem and a collectors item, in Near Mint Shape.
