This is a super copy of a very hard to find record. Most of the copies of this album that I have seen exhibit signs of wear as the sleeve is made from light, unlaminated cardboard. This copy has some rubbing to the front cover and the inside (see photos) and a small amount of ring-wear on the back. There are no seam splits, writing or tears. There is some evidence of edge-wear but all of the text is clearly readable along the spine. The cover is actually in great shape considering how fragile it is but I will conservatively grade it as VG+.
The orange CBS labels are clean and bright without any writing. There are very few spindle marks which would suggest that this record was not played too many times. The side one label has a small area of discolouration from where a tiny sticker was removed. The side two label has an almost imperceptible 1mm crack at the edge of the spindle hole. the vinyl itself is in immaculate condition and it looks like it was only played a handful of times. It retains its sheen and lustre and has no major scratches, scuffs or marks. I have play-tested the record from beginning to end and the sound quality is exceptionally rich and full of depth. Surface noise is almost non-existent which is important for full appreciation of the amazing songs on this album. I have no hesitation in grading the record as Near Mint.
