Here we offer very cool, scarce VG+ range ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING U.S. Polydor PD 5508 WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING LP for "Slade Alive!" by Slade, issued in 1972. As you probably know, TEST PRESSING LPs were issued in VERY limited quantities by record companies BEFORE the commercial release, and were usually issued in plain white covers with cover sheets (with album/song details) either cello taped to the white covers or inserted in the plain white sleeve. They are quite often the VERY first VINYL pressings of an LP! We did not listen to the tracks to compare them with the released versions, but we are assuming they are the same. The VINYL here is a very nice VG+, rarely played, with some slight to very light partial paper innersleeve rubs, more so to the 1st track on each side. There may be some revolutions of very light surface noise on one of these first tracks as a result. Outside of these paper innersleeve rubs, the vinyl would grade slightly higher! The WHITE LABELS are handwritten in RED MARKER, as shown in the PHOTOS. This has the usual plain white COVER, with some age spotting, browning and a a couple of areas of damp-staining at upper right/left corner (depending on how one holds the cover), and center top edge front/back. Again, please see PHOTOS as they are part of the description! The COVER SHEET is cello taped to the front cover, and has 4 or 5 areas of age blotches. By the way, the COVER SHEET must have been retaped to the "back" cover because opening edge is at LEFT SIDE, and there is a tape tear at top center in plain cover on the other side. ALL in all, a pretty scarce Slade item, now about 41 years old! Offered with NO RESERVE!

1. Media Mail (USPS slower service & buyer's agreed risk for loss, damage & theft...USPS 6-14 day delivery average, LONGER for Alaska & Hawaii, despite eBay's optimistic delivery window...please note) w/DELIVERY CONFIRMATION = $3.90

MEDIA COMBINED SHIPPING: Add .95 for each additional LP to the Media Mail base rate of $3.90!

2. PRIORITY MAIL (faster 2-4 day delivery) w/delivery confirmation $10.45 ALL ZONES single LP (recommended highly for LPs valued over $20.00 - safer handling- or if you desire your record to be delivered quickly! If you live in a postal zone close to us, and there is a LARGE price discrepancy between our S/H charge and the actual postage price, we will happily provide a partial shipping refund)

PRIORITY COMBINED SHIPPING: Add $1.75 for each additional LP to the Priority base rate of $10.45!

II. INTERNATIONAL:

For LPs selling for LESS than $24.99 U.S.

1. 1st Class International AIR (usually 7 to 15 days average for Europe/Japan/Australia-NZ delivery...but CUSTOMS can delay delivery) = $17.95 for single LP. (PLEASE NOTE: By selecting this shipping, BUYER agrees to assume ALL risk for loss, theft & missing parcels) 

Canada = $11.95

For LPs selling for MORE than $24.99 U.S.

2. REGISTERED 1st Class Mail International (usually 7-15 days average for Europe/Japan delivery) (parcel is numbered, can be tracked, receives some special handling & carries some insurance) = $30.95 (single LP) for Europe, Australia, New Zealand & Japan  AND $24.50 for Canada!

**IMPORTANT NOTE for NON-U.S. BIDDERS**: Any 12" or LP selling for $24.99 or more MUST be shipped OVERSEAS with REGISTERED 1st Class International AIR (signed for & trackable) which is $30.95 U.S. for a single LP! Please consider your bidding carefully keeping in mind our shipping terms!  REGISTERED 1st Class International Air shipping will appear on your INVOICE as EXPEDITED INT'L SHIPPING (eBay doesn't list REGISTERED as an option), but please note that the shipping is 1st class AIR, but NOT really expedited!
