Slaughter Stick It To Ya LP Orig UK 1990 VERY RARE SIGNED Dedicated Pro Cleaned . On UK Chrysalis Records CHR 1702 . Please see photos for track listings . The front cover on this one has been signed ( dedicated to Debbie ) by what appears to be four band members , but i must stress that none of the signatures have been checked for authenticity by myself , although i have briefly checked them against others and they do appear to be correct , i did also get this LP along with some other signed Slaughter and Skid Row LP's and 12" singles from a top music auction house and they said the signatures had been checked by their in house guy and he said in his professional opinion they appeared to be genuine , thank you .
COVER: Factory single card cover generally in very good condition . A very very few extremely light and small general age related / surface / handling marks in places , mainly the odd very light hairline . There is a little rubbing in places on the signatures and a larger bit on the gold coloured bottom signature . There is a very small bit of paper loss , unfortunately on part of the bottom signature but this is very small only .The usual but very light only ring wear marks are present , there is a crease crack line with a dent near the bottom right corner on the front . Some normal useage / age related wear on the side opening edges with two or three small dinks , there are some usual but very small bits of fraying / rubbing / denting etc on and just near to the corners and one small dink on the top left corner which also can be seen by the bar code on the rear , there are some bits of usual rubbing in places on the edges , mainly on the centre section of the top edge ( not pierced ) and there are some usual but mostly small crease crack lines in places on the edges , the spine is great and fully legible , there are just a couple of usual but very small crack lines on the spine , the cover is writing free . i think pretty much all can be seen in the photos but please do just send me a message if you have any questions , thank you . I will be putting the record into a new plain white paper sleeve .
LABELS: Creamy white / black print with Chrysalis butterfly logo paper labels generally in near excellent condition , still very nice and clean with just a very very few usual but light and small spindle marks , both labels are writing free .
INNER SLEEVE: Plain ( black print at the bottom ) paper inner sleeve in very good condition , a bit of age related fading etc and some creasing / denting , the creasing being mainly from the outer edge of the record . There is a very small bit of glue loss / curling up on the one flipback top and bottom corners . The inner is date coded 7/90 which obviously is the right year , but i can't confirm if this is the original inner sleeve . I will be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve but i will obviously send the other one also .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a strong near excellent condition , but i think most people would easily say airing a lot closer to excellent overall , with just a very few extremely light and very fine mainly just whispy type hairlines , there are no nasty feelable gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot of these few finer hairlines are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please see below for audio description .
AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It plays a strong excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , all i heard was the lightest , briefest bit of noise on the quieter intro of T1 and the same on T3 , but any of this really was very brief and very light only and just on the quieter intro's , being ultra picky , then there is the usual bit of very light noise on some of the silent track changeover lines , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks there may just have been the odd very faint isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic and the audio tones are still awesome .
AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It plays superbly , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there really is nothing to report here , even most of the silent track changeovers were very quiet overall with just the odd very faint pop on two or three , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks , there may just have been the odd very faint isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic and the audio tones are still awesome .
** A really great sounding record ! ** .
There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a very nice shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .
All in all a very nice example of this now very collectable item together with super sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . I have started this one off at a very keen £49.99p , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees , please check what other Slaughter signed items have gone for previously and i think you will agree that this is a very good start price especially for a signed copy . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no deterioration in sound quality . Some brief bits of very light noise and very occasional usual light pop maybe present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played , but there is very little lessening in sound quality , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail. Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
