Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of Riot Grrrl history: an original 1994 pressing of Sleater-Kinney's debut 7-inch single, "You Ain't It!" b/w "Surf Song" (Catalog # VVK 2), released on the independent Villa Villakula records label out of Boston, MA.
This is the scarce black text variant of the DIY photocopied paper fold-over sleeve. Crucially, this copy includes the highly elusive original mail-order insert card from the label thanking the buyer, a detail most copies are missing!
Features the classic early lineup of Carrie Brownstein (listed here as Carrie Rachel), Corin Tucker, and Misty Farrell on drums.
Condition Details:
- Vinyl: Excellent (EX). Clean labels, beautiful gloss, minimal to no signs of play.
- Sleeve: Excellent (EX). Paper fold-over cover is crisp, clean, with sharp corners and no major folds or tears.
- Insert: Near Mint (NM). Completely intact, clean, and well-preserved.
