Description

Slim Dusty 78 RPM record.

A Pub With No Beer. RZ328. Saddle Boy. RZ327.

G25498 Regal Zonophone.

Condition. Pub With No Beer has some scuffs and scratches, but not as bad as I have seen on old 78's. A patch has been torn off the label near the word WITH.

Saddle Boy has similar marks to Pub. There is a faint crack at the start of Saddle Boy, about 8mm long. This crack is very shallow. There is a small patch torn off the label across B in Boy.

I played both sides on my old record player, and Pub played through, with light crackle. This is still a classic song. That faint crack at start of Saddle Boy did not affect play, as this side played through quite O.K., also with light crackle. And the song is still as poignant as ever !

The Regal Zonophone paper sleeve is in pretty good condition, with the usual small rips and tears.
