Song for a rolling stoneOriginal OZ Promo LP released in 1961 on the Gold & Green Columbia Records Label. Cat: 33OSX7642. Only Slim's second album release!!
These records are part of radio station 2UW's original record library. They have been in storage for the last 22 years and are finally seeing the light of day again. The LP's EP's & 45's discovered are all original 50's pressing. They were all stored in extra outer stiff cardboard covers which has helped preserve the picture sleeve covers and records which now date well over 50 years old!!! Mostly pre-rock N roll they include, Jazz, Country, Folk & 50's Pop and more.
David Gordon Kirkpatrick, known professionally as Slim Dusty AO, MBE was an Australian country music singer-songwriter and producer, with a career spanning nearly seven decades. He was known to record songs in the legacy of Australian poets Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson that represented the Australian Bush Lifestyle, and also for his many trucking songs.

Labels have a few light spindle marks. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles throughout. Record is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover with back flaps has light ring wear, a small pen mark on back top right, a few light marks and some age spots on back. Cover is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
