Mega rare 1984 EMI-Reader’s Digest Australia 6 x LP Slim Dusty compilation boxed set, issued under license by EMI Records, and discs also pressed by EMI.  The highest selling, most famous and most prolific country music artist in Australian music history – Slim Dusty released in excess of 100 albums, won countless awards and gold/platinum discs.  This Reader’s Digest release is a great collection of Slim’s recorded output – solo recordings, recordings with his wife Joy McKean and also recordings with his family.  This set contains 6 albums - 71 tracks, and each record is housed in a generic die-cut sleeve.  Also contains a booklet with artist and track notes by John Minson.  Booklet is in excellent condition.  Albums are housed in a picture box, in excellent condition.  Vinyl LPs - Discs 1-5 - are in excellent condition – an occasional mark or scuff.  Disc 6 – light ghosting flecks to parts of Side 1 & 2, a few light scuffs on Side 2 – plays fine  – RD4-386)
