Description
These 8 tracks were recorded in the early '50's, probably all in NYC. Gaillard, guitar, vocals on all tracks. 1 track also includes Buddy Tate, tenor sax; Maceo Williams, piano; Clyde Lombardi, bass; Charlie Smith, drums. 3 tracks also include unknown trumpet; Benny Green, trombone; unknown, alto sax. Other tracks have all unknown personnel. There are strings on some tracks and a vocal chorus on 2 tracks. This is a fascinating varied performance.
Cover: VG++ or Better Intact. 2 letters printed in the margin on the back cover. Light aging on the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. A few very light clicks but, essentially no surface noise. No markings on the vinyl surface. I have added the (-) to adjust for the small noise described. Heavy vinyl pressing. Fine overall quality in collectable condition. Audibly checked.
