Description
This is Mercury Records MG C-506,Slim Gaillard & Bam Brown Opera In Vout b/w Meade Lux Lewis Boogie Woogie, an original 10" black label mono issue of these exceptionally rare live JATP sessions. The record is in VG++ condition, showing only the lightest of marks, which do not effect the play, keeping it from being near mint. The record plays quietly throughout. Remarkable for a record this old. The wonderful David Stone Martin covers ( there's a different one on each side - see photo2) is excellent and intact The labels are excellent as well. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. A superb, collectors grade copy of this rare set.
