When I previously listed this awesome LP was described with a visual inspection only and it did not sell at a pretty low price ...maybe you should have taken the chance :) I have now played the entire LP and I can happily say that other than a few pops and crackles now and then it plays all the way through just fine. There is a slight warp which my understanding can be corrected if so desired. Keep in mind, as previously stated, I am in no way a vinyl expert. Oh and it has not been cleaned and may sound even better once cleaned properly. If there is something I am missing here, please let me know. ?
Up for your consideration is this Slim Harpo - Excello Orange Label LP 8005. Let me start by saying that I am not a vinyl expert. How I describe is strictly from what I have attempted to learn from other sellers and online. If you look at my feedback you will see I have happy vinyl customers for what I have sold so far. I have done my best to show in pics any flaws. If you want more pics I certainly will send via eBay, just let me know. I have personally played the entire LP and there are only light pops and crackles. Absolutely no skipping. Please use your own expertise and judgment and please please please as questions before bidding/buying. Here we go: The cover is in my opinion in very good + and possibly better condition, no splits, light shelf wear/dirt and some corner wear. There is one slight indentation on front (see third to last close up pic), no writing, names etc. on either side. On side I there is what I believe is called a needle drop scratch that is very light and cannot be felt that runs across all the tracks. There are a few other scratches that cannot be felt. On side II there is a scratch which can be felt (see last pic) that goes midway along the first and second track it has a portion that branches out some that cannot be felt. There are a few other light scratches that I cannot not feel. Both sides are shiny and do not appear to be too dirty but I have not cleaned so you may be seeing some fingerprints. The orange label is in very good condition No rips or tears, a few light small spots. The matrix number says Ex 8005 A & B accordingly and it says Nashville "Mains" ( I believe) . There also the number 45 (B) on both sides. I do not believe the inner sleeve is original. Please ask questions prior to bidding when possible.
