Slowdive - Just For A Day LP & Signed Poster - Creation

The debut album from one of the first bands to be called "shoegazers". They were given the name because of their long fringes and the fact they had a lot of effect pedals to concentrate on. Blame My Bloody Valentine if you wish.

This one comes with a promotional poster signed by all the bandmembers - I think it was a competition prize or something.

The vinyl is EX+, it's little played and apart from some dust from the inner sleeve it's as new.

The sleeve is VG+ because it has some wear to the top edge. Other than that it would be EX. The poster has never been mounted and is EX.

Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 61. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum as well as being a fan of prog, psych and experimental music. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
